Physical Therapist using Hippotherapy as a Treatment Strategy, PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI)

Laura received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in 2012 and her B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2006. Laura has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, acute rehabilitation, adult dayhab and skilled nursing facilities. She has found her passion in hippotherapy and is enjoying expanding her pediatric skill set in this field. Laura has been a lifelong horse lover and began riding in her early teens near her home in Virginia. Laura quickly fell in love with hippotherapy as a physical therapy student during her full time clinical internship at a PATH Premier Therapeutic Riding Center in New Jersey. She is excited to have horses be a part of her professional life as a member of the BINA team. Laura has completed her Level 1 and Level 2 Hippotherapy coursework with the American Hippotherapy Association and is a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist. Laura is also a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor.
