VISITING THE BARN

Is your school, organization or company looking for an opportunity to get outside and visit a barn? Well, we have you covered. Come spend a little time at with us and smell the fresh air and see some horses, ponies and a mini pony!

This is a 90-minute activity includes:

  • A 45-minute tour of our center and meeting the horses

  • A 15-minute Q&A with a member of our team

  • Your group can bring a snack or lunch to enjoy at our picnic area with for 30 minutes after our Q&A. This portion the host must supervise.

  • This activity can accommodate up to 15 individuals

    • group provides 1 adult chaperone per every 4 children (or more if assistants or aides are needed).

HELPING HANDS

Looking for a physical activity for your group? Well, we have numerous upkeep chores that always need helping hands. Chores include anything from painting fences, pulling weeds, cleaning different areas on the property or gardening.

This 2-3 hour activity includes:

  • 2-3 hours of physical activity depending how long your group wants it to be

  • Your group can bring a snack to enjoy during their break at our picnic area

  • This activity accommodates up to 30 individuals

    • group provides 1 adult chaperone per every 4 children for ages 8-14

    • group provides 1 adult chaperone per every 8 teens for ages 15-18

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HORSE

Does your group want to learn more about how to take care of horses?

This 2-hour activity includes:

  • A 30 minute tour of our property

  • A 30 minute presentation on how to groom and tack up a horse

  • A 30 minute observation on how we train our horses to do the special work they do

  • Bring snacks or picnic and enjoy 30 minutes in our picnic area

  • This activity can accommodate up to 30 individuals

    • 1 adult chaperone per every 4 children for ages 8-14

    • 1 adult chaperone per every 8 teens ages 15- 18

WHY BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER MATTERS

If you want a character education experience about the importance of inclusivity, this 2 - 2.5 hour activity is for you.

  • Begin with a 30-minute tour of our center

  • Observe a 30-minute Adaptive Riding Lesson (pending Participant availability). Observers will learn more about some physical and cognitive challenges that those with special needs may face. Narration will be age appropriate

  • A one-hour character education program that includes an activity for your group followed by a Q&A about the activity

  • Optional: Bring your snacks or lunch to enjoy enjoy at our picnic area

  • This activity can accommodate up to 30 individuals

    • 1 adult chaperone per every 4 children for ages 8-14

    • 1 adult chaperone per every 8 teens ages 15- 18
