Meet Sprout and Bud, two ten-month-old male bunnies who were rescued on March 20th. Since we brought them home on the Vernal Equinox, we chose names inspired by the season of growth and new beginnings. The wide-striped bunny is named Sprout, as he was the first to come out and greet us at the rescue center and the first one to hop out of the carrier when we got to the Community Center. His brother named Bud, following close behind. Together Sprout and Bud felt like a fitting pairing that reflects both their personalities and the timing of their arrival.
