Karen Katzen LMHC, C-AAIS earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College in 2019 and brings over five years of experience integrating her lifelong affinity with animals into her therapeutic practice. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Professional as well as a provider of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy at BINA Farm. She enjoys working with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and diagnoses including PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD and autism.
Karen's innovative, eclectic approach is uniquely tailored to each individual. She has helped her clients increase self-esteem, develop emotional resilience, and discover personal insights in ways that go beyond the reach of traditional talk therapy. She is dedicated to creating a warm, empathetic and safe environment where both humans and animals can thrive.
