Horsemanship
Inclusive programs supporting our mission of bringing people together
Our unmounted horsemanship program is intended for all participants who would like to learn more about horse care. Participants will learn about all aspects of horse care, from grooming, mucking, feeding, and so much more! The unmounted caring for a horse is extremely important for their overall wellbeing and is excellent for teaching the life skills that come from caring for animals.
Each lesson is 45 minutes and offers opportunities for participants to gain experience in unmounted activities. Participants learn about all aspects of horse care, including grooming, feeding, and stable management. These experiences not only promote physical, cognitive, and emotional growth, but also help participants build meaningful relationships with the horses, fostering trust and empathy. Participants work in a safe, supportive environment that encourages confidence and skill development on the ground.
