Forms, Waivers & Policies
All participation forms must be completed before beginning any of our programs. All sessions and lessons must be prepaid 2 weeks before the first day of each session. If you are unable to attend a particular day, we will try our best to fill that lesson from our waitlist as credits for missed lessons are only issued if we are able to fill your spot. Please be on time for your lesson; anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be able to participate in a lesson. A lesson will become a unmounted horsemanship lessons if weather (for ex: lightening) requires that to occur. All students must wear long pants and ASTM-SEI certified helmets if participating in equine programs.
The BINA Farm Center reserves the right to cancel, end or change a person’s participation in any program if their behavior is deemed a threat to their own health and safety or to another participant's, staff member's or BINA animal's health or safety. All clients and guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and remain on the designated area of the property.
An underlying mission of the BINA Farm Center is to make its services affordable for all participants whose application for registration is accepted. All services provided at BINA are partially subsidized by donor support. Additionally, BINA tries to fulfill this mission through the administration of a scholarship program based strictly on need. We provide financial asssitance through a scholarship program to the extent our resources allow. To be considered for financial assistance starting in January 2021, aid applications must be received by October 15, 2020. Our scholarship committee will review all applications and notify recipients by December 31, 2020.
