Creative & Complementary Therapy Programs
Indoor Rock Climbing
This is a wonderful program for children or adults with special needs to enjoy with siblings or friends. Rock Climbing is offered in group or private sessions and sessions are held at the Dana Hall School, Wellesley.
This program encourages students to explore self-expression in ways that can build self-confidence. The instructor will use dance, music and games to help students become more aware of their body movements. Students will work on social skills, small and large motor movements and spatial orientation.
Special music therapy events for organizations or groups can be arranged upon request.
Family Yoga is a wonderful inclusive program for beginners that includes breathing exercises, yoga postures, flowing sequences and a deep relaxation period. Our expert Yoga instructor, Elizabeth Goranson, has created a Yoga mat for people with special needs. Yoga therapy is offered at a variety of times throughout the year. Special Yoga events for organizations or groups can be arranged upon request.
