Recreational Riding
RECREATIONAL RIDING LESSONS
In addition to hippotherapy and therapeutic riding lessons, the BiNA Farm
offers recreational horseback riding lessons for able-bodied siblings,
family members and friends of our therapeutic clients. This is a great way
for families and friends to share the unique experience of being together and
riding horses. Beginning students will learn flatwork fundamentals in
traditional riding lessons combined with some of the games utilized in our
therapeutic lessons. If they are already experienced riders, they can learn
more advanced flat work and jumping.
In keeping with our mission to create an inclusive community of those with
and without disabilities, we also offer recreational riding lessons to
members of the general public. Fees generated by these lessons are used to
support scholarships for our therapeutic programs, and spaces are limited.
