Summer PrograM
The Summer Youth Program offers a comprehensive curriculum on horsemanship; including horse care, barn management and riding lessons. This program also includes parts of our Life Skills and Creative and Complementary Therapy Programs. This is an inclusive program for riders and students with and without disabilities. Weekly sessions are grouped by age and riding ability.
GIDDY UP, Tuesdays 1:00-3:00 PM, July & August
Our inaugural gala was such a success, that we are able to fully scholarship this summer a unique opportunity for children with special needs and their typically developing sibling who otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to participate in therapeutic and recreational riding together. The BiNA Farm is providing a 100% scholarship for the Giddy Up program. We selected a variety of organizations in the community to offer these scholarships to. The child with special needs will take a therapeutic horseback riding lesson and their sibling or friend will have a recreational horseback riding lesson during the program. Both children will then learn horsemanship together, which consists of grooming, feeding, and taking care of the horses. RECREATIONAL RIDING LESSONS
Recreational riding lessons are a wonderful way for those who are typically developing to participate with equine activities and get a better understanding of what their sibling or friend who participates in therapeutic horseback riding is doing. Limited spaces available.
